French rider Margaux Vieuge and Portugal’s Antonio Dantas claimed victory at the Socorro Classic, the latest stop of the European Tour of Longboard (ETL), after winning both days of competition without dropping a heat. Vieuge also secured the Junior Girls title, while England’s Reggie Roynon took the Junior Boys crown.
The closest battle of the morning came in the Junior Girls final, where Vieuge edged out England’s Puddiphatt by just 0.20 points to take the top spot. The close-fought heat thrilled spectators and set the stage for the Women’s Open final, where the 18-year-old from Bidart first overcame Portugal’s Raquel Bento before facing fellow French rider Canelle Lebreton.

In the Men’s Open, Portugal’s Antonio Dantas proved difficult to beat, building on an impressive performance from the opening day on Tuesday. He defeated Brazil’s Rodrigo Sphaier in the final with a score of 15.90 points.

The Junior Boys final also delivered an all-English showdown, with Reggie Roynon scoring 14.50 points to finish ahead of compatriot Rowan Curbishley.

The Socorro Classic brings an intense day of ETL finals to a close, with each winner earning 1,000 points towards the European ranking.
