Team Spain are once again European SUP Team Champions, successfully defending their title at #EuroSUP2026 in Melilla after four days of competition, with victory in the Team Relay sealing the championship.
Aarón Sánchez, Esperanza Barreras, Rubén Cantoral and Alba Frey delivered the winning performance in the final race, securing first place for Spain ahead of Italy and France.
Spain’s success was built on strong performances across the Technical Race, Sprint, Long Distance and Team Relay, with athletes from the Open and U18 categories contributing to the team’s overall result.

The Team Relay victory confirmed Spain’s position at the top of the European standings, with France finishing second and Italy third. Congratulations to all the athletes and teams who contributed to four days of high-level European SUP racing in Melilla.
