The ODRA SUP CUP delivered a spectacular final day of competition in Rybnik, Poland, with Sergio Cantoral and Alba Alonso Frey claiming victory in the 200-metre Sprint to close the fourth event of the 2026 European SUP League (ESL).

Held as part of the ODRA SUP FESTIVAL, the Polish stop featured two official ESL disciplines — the Technical Race and the Sprint — bringing together some of Europe's leading SUP riders for a weekend of high-level racing.

Sergio Cantoral wins the Men's Sprint

The Men's Sprint final saw Sergio Cantoral take the victory after an intense 200-metre race.

The Spanish rider finished ahead of Dutch athlete Donato Freens, who took second place, while Italy's Filippo Mercuriali completed the podium.

The result capped a strong weekend for Cantoral, who had already finished second behind Freens in Saturday's Technical Race. Freens also delivered a consistent performance in Rybnik, combining his Technical Race victory with a second-place finish in the Sprint.

Alba Alonso Frey completes a perfect weekend

In the Women's division, Alba Alonso Frey completed a perfect weekend by adding the Sprint victory to her Technical Race win from Saturday.

The Spanish rider once again showed her versatility across the two disciplines, taking the top spot ahead of fellow Spaniard Nuria Chiquero, who secured her second runner-up finish of the weekend.

Poland's Martyna Drobny claimed third place in front of the home crowd, with fellow Polish rider Maja Bauerek also reaching the final.

With four events now completed, the 2026 European SUP League enters its summer break before returning in September for the final stage of the season.

The circuit resumes competition at the European SUP Race Isla Cristina, in Huelva, on 5–6 September, with Sprint and Technical Race events on the programme.
