Patos Beach (Nigrán, Galicia) became the stage for the European ParaSurfing Championship 2025, bringing together the continent’s best adaptive surfers for an unforgettable edition filled with emotion, camaraderie, and inspiring stories of resilience.

Team France claimed the European title with a total of 15,586 points, followed closely by Spain, the runner-up with 12,686 points, and England, in third place with 4,900 points. The top five was completed by Italy (4,766) and Portugal (4,670).

Organized by the European Surfing Federation, in collaboration with the Spanish Surfing Federation and the Nigrán City Council, the event reaffirmed Galicia’s status as a European hub for inclusive surfing—showcasing how sport can be a powerful tool for social transformation.

The European Surfing Federation extends its heartfelt gratitude to all the institutions that made this championship possible: the Nigrán City Council, Quenlla Surf Clubea, the Xunta de Galicia, the Spanish Sports Council (CSD), the Pontevedra Provincial Council, and the Galician Surfing Federation.
